More than a tote, this bag is a celebration of the people, places, and pursuits that make up a Wool & Honey life. Look closely and you’ll find many of the things we cherish in our little corner of Leelanau County: sheep and alpacas, skeins of yarn and knitting needles, pine forests and winding trails, Lake Michigan treasures tucked into a rock hunter’s pocket, snowy cross-country ski tracks, maple syrup, books, creativity, and community. Together, these illustrations tell the story of a life connected to the land, to one another, and to the simple joys of making by hand—a life like no other.
The artwork was created by Emilie Eklund of LIEFdesign, a Michigan artist whose work celebrates connection, delight, and the beauty of everyday life, capturing the spirit of Wool & Honey through illustrations inspired by fiber, creativity, and community. The tote was printed by BAC Print of Grand Rapids, a company whose commitment to craftsmanship, mentorship, and community mirrors our own values. Together, they helped bring this special project to life.
Made from durable natural cotton canvas, this roomy tote is designed to accompany you everywhere: yarn shopping, farmers markets, library visits, beach days, knitting group, and all the everyday adventures in between. Strong handles and a generous size make it as practical as it is meaningful.
Every tote purchased helps support the next chapter of Wool & Honey keeping classes, gatherings, inspiration, and fiber traditions thriving in Cedar. For more than twenty-five years, Wool & Honey has been a place where makers gather to learn, share, create, and connect. Your support helps ensure that tradition continues for years to come.
