425 – 475 yards (389 – 434 m)
Approx 56 inches across top of shawl and 11 inches in depth at center back of shawl.
This shawl is constructed by working a long vertical strip of edging first. Yarn over loops are then picked up along one side of the edging and the crescent shape is formed using short rows. There technically isn’t a wrong or right side of the shawl.
Gudrun Johnston Patterns come to us from lovely Shutesbury, Massachusetts.
