Frosted Forest was our February 2023 feature for the Sleeping Bear Yarn Club. Dyed exclusively for us by the lovely Sarah of Fiberstory right here in Michigan, ​​​​​​​this variegated, speckled skein is a soothing wash of deep cobalt, royal purple and icy, blue-leaning white, sprinkled with intense coal black speckles. The inspiration photo‑‑by our dear friend Briana of Northern Way of Life‑‑depicts a wintry tree in mid-winter, completely covered by a layer of clear ice.
