Whitman is the sweetest of striped garter stitch baby sweaters in worsted weight. Knitted flat and seamed, with a buttoned shoulder. Machine washable, soft. . .the perfect thing for wee ones. The worsted weight means it’ll whip up ever so quickly.

Size: sweater–to fit 3 (6, 12, 18, 24) months with approximately 4″positive ease
hat—0-3 (6-12, 18-24) months.

Yarn:
sweater–1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins MC, 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins CC (shown in colors 10 + 11)
hat–1 skein each in MC, CC1 + CC2 (shown in colors 10, 11 +8)

Needles: US 7
or size needed to obtain gauge

Gauge: 18 sts + 36 rows = 4” in garter stitch, after blocking.

Kit includes 5 (5, 5, 7, 7) skeins of worsted weight cotton (Quince & Co. Whimbrel). Please plan your color choices (2 for the sweater, 3 for the hat).
