We are thrilled to announce May’s installment of the Sleeping Bear Yarn Club: Robin’s Eggs. Dyed for us by the talented Melissa of Storyteller Stitchery in Arizona.

Spring doesn’t slip in—it returns in sound, all at once. Birdsong layered and bright, filling the air in a way that softens something in you without asking. And in the middle of that chorus, there it is—that vivid blue, tucked into a nest. Full and unmistakable, held against the first grellow leaves just beginning to open, still soft, still reaching.

Robin’s Egg carries that exact feeling. A saturated blue paired with that fresh, light-struck green—the kind of color that only lives in this early stretch of the season, when everything is waking at once. It feels like Leelanau in spring—windows cracked, morning light lingering, the world returning not just in color, but in sound.
