Roadside Poppy A Chick That Knitz Assigned Pooling

We are thrilled to announce June’s installment of the Sleeping Bear Yarn Club: Roadside Poppy. Dyed for us by the talented Tammy of A Chick That Knitz in Canada.

A punchy orange-red catches your eye from the car. Bright blooms rising out of thick summer grass, glowing against all that deep field green. The kind of flower that feels almost misplaced in a ditch — too vivid, too delicate-looking — yet there it stands, hardy and wild.

Roadside Poppy holds that feeling of pulling over just to take it all in. The shape of leaves in the shade. A green beetle tucked into the stems. Warm wind moving through tall grass. A color that makes an ordinary roadside feel worth noticing.
