Shelf Lichen is the February 2025 installment of the Sleeping Bear Yarn Club. Dyed  for us by the talented Katy of Hummingbird Yarns in Northwood, Minnesota. This color is a rich fern green with tones of earthy olive and browns mixed in. It doesn’t matter the season, walking into the woods through our local swamps with low hanging pine trees and little streams, it feels like a magical wonderland. A place of imagination, forts, fairy homes or witches brews. Mushrooms and plants are furniture or ingredients. A new world of discovery each time you duck your head under the branches and explore.
