Succulent Sweater Pattern

What is it that makes succulents so charming? Is it their pudgy, puffy stems? Their tiny, waxy leaves? Or might it be the simple fact that they’re such easy keepers? Whatever the appeal, we love succulents–a lovely way to bring a bit of greenery indoors all year long. But what to do with the not-so-lovely plastic pots they come in? Why not knit a little covering for the pots, a sweater of sorts? This pattern is for a simple cozy–in three different sizes–that knits up quickly in a chunky yarn and is then felted in the washing machine for a thick, insulating fabric. Forget the ubiquitous bottle of wine–we think a little trio of these cozies would make a thoughtful (and lasting!) housewarming gift this holiday season.
