In the words of the designer…

The cardigan is knitted top down with increases spaced out along the yoke, the sleeves are then separated while the body is knit. Sleeve stitches are then picked up and the sleeves knitted in the round. Stitches are picked up to make the button band. Length of the body and sleeve can easily be modified.
