We are so excited to have our very good friend Ashlea Walter from Pinkie Finger Press join us for an art show this Thursday at Wool & Honey. Ashlea will be at the shop for an artist’s reception on Thursday evening from 5:30-7:30 pm, where she’ll have original paintings, prints and her Northern Michigan alphabet poster available for purchase. Her colorful, whimsical paintings of Northern Michigan’s favorite vistas would make unique gifts for anyone whose heart has been captured by the Big Water. Ashlea’s passion for a vibrant life is so apparent through her photographs and words, whether exploring with her family in the woods, passing on the love of visual art to her daughters, biking to school and work, or swimming in Lake Michigan. Can’t be with us in person? Watch our Instagram Stories on Thursday night; if you see a piece (or three!) you love, we’ll ship it right to your door.

We’ll have mulled wine and chewy molasses cookies for you to munch on at this festive party; bring your knitting and your friends–we can’t wait to see you there!
