Studious Summer Stitching
Some knits are beach reads. Some are the book you underline, dog-ear, and carry around all summer long.
Olga’s Jacket falls firmly into the second pile.
Many of you are floating beautifully through Bao Bao Shawl right now—easy rhythm, soft repetition, the kind of knitting that follows you to porches and lake days. And now mYak is inviting us into a different kind of summer project using that same beloved Tibetan Cloud.
One with a bit more study to it. A bit more attention.

The satisfying kind of challenge where you can almost feel new pathways forming in your knitting brain.
This isn’t a strict class, but it is a commitment. A knit-along built for makers who are ready to stretch a little and see what happens when they stay with something ambitious.
And what waits at the end?
A truly incredible jacket to throw on this fall.
The kind of garment that changes how you see your own making.

mYak will be hosting the KAL through their Ravelry group, with timelines, support, and three Zoom gatherings throughout the summer featuring Olga herself, Paola from mYak, and several of us shopkeepers joining in from our little corners of the yarn world.

And because finishing a large project deserves celebration, we’re adding a little encouragement from the Hive:
Any finisher who purchased their Tibetan Cloud through Wool & Honey will be entered to win a $100 Wool & Honey gift certificate.
Sometimes a little gold star helps.

We’ll be cheering every sleeve, every pocket, every “wait…let me rip back three rows” moment right alongside you.
Come take a look at the kits, choose your Cloud colors, and join us for a summer of studious knitting and very good company.
