Making Comfort KAL
This is a pre-order and will ship the week of August 25th, 2025.

Join us for the Making Comfort KAL at the end of Summer and meet the upcoming cool season with a warm, lightweight shawl. Evenings outside by a fire, an early more coffee on the front steps--we see this as a staple piece you will quickly grab to throw on your shoulders.
This shawl uses the Heritage DK by North Bay Fiber--a Targhee-Polypay yarn known for it's consistent, quality fleece. The fine wool heritage is evident in their wool. The yarn is soft and fine, but also durable. This makes it an excellent choice for everyday garments and accessories. Heritage is woolen spun yarn that takes the dye beautifully. The yarn is light and lofty. An ideal yarn for colorwork, but also contains enough body to showcase texture.

In the words of the designer, our dear friend Jill Zielinski...
"The Making Comfort shawl is a classic top-down, triangular shawl. Rows of relaxing garter stitch are broken up with a simple, easy-to-memorize textural stitch, and the piece is finished with a clean, ribbed border. Knit in our Heritage DK—a light, lofty yarn spun from 100% Targhee-Polypay wool—it offers beautiful body and bounce, making for a cozy, wearable shawl that’s as comforting to knit as it is to wrap up in.
