Gentle hand wash and dry flat for best results

This is a non-superwash soft grey comprised of 75% Merino and 25% Arapawa fingering weight yarn from Wild Earth Yarns, New Zealand. The Arapawa Sheep is a breed found primarily on Arapaoa Island in the Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand. The New Zealand Rare Breeds Conservation Society classifies it as “rare.” This breed is raised primarily for wool.

This is a stranded colorwork knitters dream as it is bouncy, lofty and next-to-skin soft. It would be a great choice for accessories (hats, fingerless mitts, mittens, shawls, cowls, etc.) and garments.

Rediscovering colourful fun after a long stint as a molecular geneticist, Australia’s Hannah Ginn finds color inspiration in the world around her. Beautiful small batch hand dyed yarns inspired by the natural world, her yarns are sourced from all over the world to bring knitters and crafters unique covetable skeins.
