Indian Lake Artisans Hexagonal Circular Needles

These circular knitting needles employ Indian Lake Artisans patented hexagonal shape we’ve come to love in their single and double-pointed needles. The all-Michigan-made stainless steel, nickel-free connector allows the sturdy yet supple cord to swivel and rotate smoothly, preventing the twisting of your knitting. The join is perfectly smooth–your fiber will not catch or snag as it transitions from the cord over the connector to the needle. The needles are hand-sanded and polished to a smooth finish with 100% natural beeswax, providing a most pleasurable knitting experience.

The circular needles are available in US Sizes 2 through US Size 15. The needle barrel length on the 16”circular is 3.5” long. Barrel length on 24”, 32” and 40” circular needles comes in a standard 4” length.

Size 2 circulars are available in Maple only.

Sizes 3, 4 and 5 circulars are available in Maple and Cherry.

Sizes 6 through 15 circulars are available in Maple, Cherry and Walnut.

Great tips, comfortable shafts and excellent joins and cords! Easy knitting!

The unique shape of the needles are supposed to be easier to knit with. I am pleased with the comfort of the needle in my hands. I am more accustomed to knitting with metal needles, but there is no loss of glide and sharpness with these. The joins are smooth and the cord is easy to work with. Very nice needles.

These needles are a pleasure to knit with. I agree with the two other reviews-they are very nice needles.

These are very comfortable needles . I bought 32″ size 6 and they are very nice so far. The points are very good. The wood is smooth, no slivers or rough places. I usually use a stiletto point by Signature, so I am used to a very sharp needle. The Indian Lake needle is comfortable sharp and works smoothly with a fingering weight rib. I have worked for several inches and my hands are not tired;the hexagonal shape is good. The stitches slide along the cable very smoothly and, very easily. They do not catch on the join Overall, this is an excellent circular needle. I would buy more of this company’s needles.
