This simple lace scarf is light enough to wear as a wrap in the warmer months but also makes a cosy scarf in the winter. The pattern is based on a traditional Shetland stitch called “broken acre” which, on a ribbing background, makes a fabric that is reversible and doesn’t curl. The length and width can easily be adjusted. The scarf is knitted in one piece from the bottom up. The lace pattern is easy to memorize. The pattern is written and charted.
